Pickled Green Beans

Keep these in the fridge all the time to garnish and complement all sorts of sandwiches (like the Grilled Cheese Waffle Sandwich), cocktails, and appetizers. They also make a fine addition to a cheese or charcuterie spread. 

Yield: 3-4 cups , Prep time: 15-20 minutes , Cook time: 5 minutes



1. Cut off both ends of each green bean and throw them all in a mixing bowl.
2. In a small saute pan, combine the water, vinegar, honey, salt, and ground mustard. Bring to a boil until the honey and salt dissolve. Pour the hot pickling liquid over the green beans and let rest.
